Community Week 24
The week beginning 11th November was Community Week.
During the week children (and staff) took the opportunity to celebrate the rich, diverse community that makes up Fairlight Primary and Nursery School.
We got to experience a wide range of activities; from henna to kung fu, Flamenco, Bollywood and Capoeira. We had guests coming in from the Hummingbird Refugee Project, the Badger Trust, the Afro Hair Academy and even got to taste some authentic Greek and Bangladeshi food!
We topped our week off with some fantastic music assemblies.
We couldn’t have done this without the parents and volunteers that gave up their time to give our students a brilliant week which they are still talking about;
