Poseidon  provides a nurturing and personalised learning environment where each child's unique needs in maths and literacy are met through tailored, incremental interventions. We empower students by starting from where they are, guiding them step by step toward academic success, fostering confidence, and unlocking their full potential.

We emphasise individualised support, small-step progress, and the goal of building confidence through personalised learning approaches.

Children are chosen for the intervention using the following criteria:

1. Children who are on the SEN register.

2. Children who have not made academic progress in one or more subject areas over at least one term, 

3. For children that can regulate or co-regulate their own behaviour.

The purpose of Poseidon is to:

1. Enable the children to see themselves as learners.

2. Build self-esteem.

3. Prepare children for their next steps.
