REPORTING TO PARENTS 2024
This has taken place at Parents Evening during the year and of course on the End of Year School Report that you will have recieved.
Below is the letter that accompanies the End of Year School Report to help explain the report.
This is the link to the Feedback Form we ask parents to complete when they receive their child's report.
This is about your child and your experience as well as about the school in general.
Completing this form helps us to make plans for the future as well as review what we are doing.
This is also where you would indicate you may want to talk to the teacher about the report.
Everyone who completes the form by Monday 15th July 2024 will be placed into a draw for a special prize.

STATUTORY TESTING 2024
This year the pupils at Fairlight Primary and Nursery School have undertaken:
- Reception Profile
- Y1 Phonics Screening
- Y2 Phonics retakes
- Y4 Times Tables Testing
- Y6 SATS
The results of these tests will be reported to parents seperately.
SCHOOL PERFORMANCE AND REPORTING
Formal and informal assessment is constantly taking place at school. This may take the form of a test or assessment task. This may be a simple observation. It might even be a simple question.
Teachers use the information from these assessments to inform their planning and what they then teach. This information can also be used to guide the school on what additional support that is given.
Teachers report performance to parents during parents evening during the year and on the school report at the end of the school year.
