Year 6 Residential
Every June our Year 6s (and some lucky staff members) pack their suitcases and head off for an exciting two night trip away from school and home! This is a wonderful treat for the children who work so hard during their SATS and it is a chance to bond with their friends and classmates before heading off to secondary school.
This year, Year 6 headed to the Adur Outdoors Centre in Shoreham - on - Sea to experience real camping next to the River Adur. The days were packed with activities such as watersports, bushcraft, bike riding and orienteering. All of the children were Risky Ronans and challenged themselves by stepping out of their comfort zones and completing exciting and sometimes difficult activities. The children were so supportive of each other throughout the activities and even in down time, everyone joined in with each other and had fun, despite some leaky tents and soggy sleeping bags!
