Support for Parents

Being a parent can be tricky.

Children don't come with an instruction manual and there is no test you have to pass to get one.

There are however lots of books and information out there to help as well as professionals and other experts who can support you.

On this page we will give information that will help with some of the things parents ask us for support and guidance with.

SLEEP

We are seeing increasing numbers of children in school who are having difficulties linked to sleep.

To support this our School Nurse Nicki will be running some drop in sessions for parents to attend.

One session will be for those who just want to find out more or may need a little support or guidance.

One sessions however will be for those parents whose children have additional needs and therefore the plan may need more detail and much more consideration.

WORKSHOP IN SCHOOL RUN BY OUR SCHOOL NURSE NICKI ON WEDNESDAY 22nd MARCH 2023 STARTING AT 2.30PM- PLEASE COME TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE TO SIGN IN.

To get started however we would like to share an Online Sleep Workshop run by Brighton and Hove Mental Health Support Team.
